Wild Edible Mushrooms of Manitoba

There’s something about mushrooms that causes even the most stoic adult to revert to childlike behaviours in their presence. Explore the world of mushrooms and learn which ones are safe to put on your plate! I will share identification tips for several local species, including how to distinguish edible mushrooms from their poisonous lookalikes. I’ll also explain simple preparation methods so you, too, can incorporate their unique flavours and textures into everyday meals.  High quality slide show and demo materials.
