There are a lot of plants out there. A lot of very similar-looking plants. But which one is which? The photos in your field guide aren’t all that great and it sure would be nice if someone was there to just tell you what they are and explain the differences!
This 2-hour field class will focus on identifying specific plants with tips and tricks for telling similar species apart. I will address statements and questions like “I thought that was a <insert plant name>” and “Isn’t that the same plant we saw back there?”
I have chosen Bird’s Hill Provincial Park because of its diversity of habitats – dry prairie, aspen woodland, cedar and spruce bogs, etc. We will cover as many habitats and plants as possible. Identification will not be limited to edible and medicinal plants.
Cost $31.50 (incl. GST)
